The Colored Pencil Society of America is happy to announce the prospectus for the 23 Annual International Exhibition and Convention is now available.
This exciting exhibition features original artwork created with 100% colored pencil by artists around the globe. Entry is open equally to CPSA members and non-members. CPSA members who are accepted into the CPSA International Exhibition three times in ten years may earn their signature status.
The prestigious CIPPY Best of Show Award and many other monetary awards are announced at the convention awards banquet. Last year, cash awards totaled nearly $16,000!
Each year this exhibit and convention is held in a different city, this upcoming year being Atlanta, GA. The exhibit will be held at the beautiful Oglethorpe University Museum of Art (OUMA). This lovely space is home to an inspiring collection of artwork, and CPSA is happy to share our colored pencil masterpieces with OUMA and Atlanta.
Our honored juror this year is Donna Krueger, owner of the dk Gallery in Marietta, GA. The dk Gallery carries only original
artwork and in 2011 and 2013, The Atlantan magazine called it “one of
the top 20 Scene Stealers changing the conversation on the Art Scene in
Atlanta. We are excited to have Ms. Krueger judge our exhibit.
Now is the time to finish up your entries and submit! The deadline for entries is March 31, 2015. The entry fee for CPSA members is $25, and for non-members $35. Remember, this is for artwork created with 100% colored pencil.
